After nearly two weeks, three rounds, and nine quartets, we are delighted to announce that we have returned home from the 2015 International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition in high spirits, having been awarded Third Prize as well as the Prize for the "Best interpretation of the commissioned work."

In case you were unable to follow our progress on Facebook and Twitter, videos of our complete performances are available on demand from the competition's website. You can watch our Final Round of Mozart, Bartók, and Haydn; our Semifinal Round of Schubert, Haydn, and Beethoven, and our First Round of Haydn, Dvořák and 7 Aphorismen by Linus Köhring, for which we won the special prize.

Additionally, our performance of the Köhring at the March 4th Prizewinners Concert was filmed and will be broadcast on Austrian national television at a future date.

The rigors and challenges of the competition were balanced by the charm of the city of Vienna, and we had a wonderful time wandering the streets and parks during our down-time. Whether we were admiring the architecture, enjoying the laid back cafe culture, or stuffing our faces with Currywurst and Käsekrainer, we were happy to be out and about to experience the joys of this beautiful city.
